Systematic energy management is a suitable instrument with which energy efficiency in companies and organisations can be continuously increased. With achievable cost saving the competitiveness of the company is strengthened. With the ISO 50001 standard, which replaces the European standard EN 16001, international standards for an energy management system have been established for the first time.
Therefore, Peter Greven has consistently expanded the long existing, quality and environmental management system, and in early 2014, integrated an energy management system according to ISO 50001 which was certified in March 2014 by DQS.
Day-to-day business operations at Peter Greven are all about operational energy management, to improve the so-called "energy performance", i.e., to save energy, improve energy efficiency, installation of innovative technologies and of course, cost reduction.
