Peter Greven, a leading producer of oleochemical additives with sites in Germany, The Netherlands and Malaysia, is starting up a new, state-of-the-art production facility for metallic soaps at its site in Penang (Malaysia) in April 2015.
Due to the increasing demand for high-quality metallic stearates in the Asian markets, Peter Greven started the construction of a new production plant at its site in Penang (Malaysia) in spring 2014.
This production facility is based on state-of-the-art technology; the focus of the development was primarily based on the highest productivity and energy efficiency. With this new production facility, the capacity of the Penang site will be considerably increased and it will be fully operational in April 2015.
The products that will be produced in this new production facility are different qualities of metallic stearates with the brand name PALMSTAR®. PALMSTAR® products are all-round talents: due to their specific properties, they are indispensable additives and auxiliaries in various technical applications, e.g. in the plastic, rubber, paper and building industry, but also in diversified life science applications as in the pharmaceutical, food, feed and cosmetic industry.
